Black Rock Sands
About 30 mins drive from Ty Coed-63. A very large drive-on sandy beach. Great beach for body boarding. Views across to Harlech and beyond. Beware of incoming tide and fast moving currents.
Criccieth
About 30 mins drive from Ty Coed-63. Pebbled beach to the west of the castle and sandy on the east side. Small, quiet seaside town with cafes and restaurants. Great beach for fishing. Castle. Dolphins often seen from the beach.
Barmouth Beach
30 mins drive from Ty Coed-63. A beautiful seaside resort backed by mountains. Large sandy beach, funfair, donkey rides, gift shops, restaurants and bars.
Harlech
30 mins drive from Ty coed-63. A sandy beach with sand dunes part of a National Nature Reserve. Accessed by foot across the Royal St David’s golf course.
